It’s a busy night at Kostas’ Greek restaurant when Jamila, the belly dancer, refuses to go on because her ex-husband, Arman, has unexpectedly arrived for a romantic dinner with his new lover, Rebecca. But when a waitress is substituted for Jamila to perform the much anticipated belly dance, chaos and mayhem ensues before the owner is forced to change his old ways in order to prevent a major catastrophe. This is a delicious black comedy set inside a Greek restaurant in Melbourne over one night. It is full of stories about the universal themes of love, family, migration and passion and possums. Opa! Many plates were broken in the making of this film.
