Dreamtime Storytelling Masterclass

23-30 June 2023

APPLY NOW! CLOSING DATE EXTENDED TO 2 JUNE 2023

Now in its second year, The Dreamtime Storytelling Masterclass is a Vision Splendid Outback Film Festival and Kolperi Outback Filmmaking initiative designed to facilitate, develop, and support emerging First Nations filmmakers and writers to tell their own stories in their own way.

Applicants submit a pitch for a tonal short film (7-12min) they intend to develop in support of a feature film or television project. Applicants are encouraged to explore concepts set in regional Australia and themes they are most passionate about.

“...Loved becoming more familiar with Winton and the community, going to see the dinosaurs and Butterfly Dreaming (…) It is great that the workshop feels purpose and results driven and that we are all building creative partnerships that can endure.”
