COVID SAFE EVENT FAQ
What is Vision Splendid doing to ensure the 2020 festival is a COVID safe event?
Rest assured the festival team are taking every step and precaution to ensure VS 2020 is as safe as possible for all attendees, staff and volunteers.
The 2020 vision splendid film festival is operating under the industry-standard COVID plan. Specifically, the COVID Safe Event Checklist. This checklist can be viewed here:
What do the COVID Safe precautions mean for my festival experience?
To help us make the event as safe as possible it is encouraged that tickets are pre-purchased tickets online prior to the screening so as to minimise queuing and in-person contact.
It is also recommended you allow extra time prior to event start time to allow for contact tracing and screening protocol.
Furthermore, if you are feeling unwell or are displaying any symptoms please do not attend any festival events.
What do I need to do as an attendee to ensure the event is safe for everyone?
In align with current QLD Government regulations mask usage is not required. However, all other hygiene and social distancing protocol are to be strictly adhered to. Hygiene stations will be present at all festival entrances.
As a festival patron, it is required that direction from volunteers and staff be complied with for the safety of all in attendance. Please be conscious of other attendees and staff particularly in queues.
What should I do if I am feeling unwell or have been in contact with a confirmed case?
If you have any symptoms or have any indication you may have been in contact with a COVID case please do not attend any festival events. For ticketing concerns regarding this please contact our ticketing team enquires@visionsplendidfilmfest.com for assistance.
