Planning for Vision Splendid 2027 is well underway.
Festival Passes will be released towards the end of 2026, with the full 2027 program expected to be revealed in April 2027. We’ll also be announcing special events, filmmaker guests and festival news as they’re confirmed.

What happens at Vision Splendid Outback Film Festival 2027?
Vision Splendid runs across nine days (25 June – 3 July 2027) to coincide with the Australian June school holidays. Each day consists of daytime screenings and evening screenings, alongside various performances, special events, workshops, conversations and community experiences.
Put it this way, you’ll never be short of something to do! Our most anticipated events for 2027 include Breakfast with the Stars, an Opening Night Gala, live scores played alongside an iconic film, and our famous closing short film competition.
